Getting ready for the Fall season

It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over and fall is on the way in.  Fall fertilizing for your lawn is essential to developing good root growth, so now is a good time to put down Step 2 of the Fertilome Lawn Food with Iron.  Step 3 should be applied sometime around Halloween.  Its also a good time to think about re-seeding your lawn to cover up some of those bare spots and to make your lawn that much thicker.  For those of you that have indoor house plants that you move outside during the summer and move back in during the fall; now is the time to feed them with some systemic insecticide so you don’t bring those pesky white flies and spider mites into the house this year.
